High-efficiency cleaning agent for the removal of manganese oxide / ferrous oxide

If well water is used, which is not de-ironed/demanganised, these substances form difficultly soluble oxide deposits, especially on surfaces subjected to heat like heat exchangers and coolers. These manganese / iron oxide deposits as well as lime and corrosion products are dissolved. Highly effective inhibitors safely prevent the corrosion of metallic surfaces (with the exception of aluminium and zinc) during cleaning.

Oxyclean-MN is used for the cleaning of cooling / heating circuits, boilers and systems, dirty tiled floors and industrial floors.

Biodegradable subsequent to neutralisation according to OECD guidelines.

Your advantage / your benefits

  • Free from hydrofluoric acid
  • Easy to dose
  • Highly concentrated
  • Non-toxic
  • Fast action
  • Improves performance

How to use

Drain off the water in the system up until the amount which cannot be pumped out.
Add Oxyclean-MN component A to the rest of the content at a ratio of 1:10 and mix well. Then add Oxyclean-MN component B (50% of the volume of component A). During cleaning, the pH value should be monitored and kept at pH 1 by re-dosing the product. The cleaning has finished when the pH value has remained stable for approx. 1 hour without the addition of the product. After that, the cleaning solution in the system is neutralised to pH 7-9 using Neutralauge and is drained. To the first rinse water, Hydrotec is added as a flocculant at 1l/m³ before being recirculated and discharged. A previously determined product from the Hydrotec range should be dosed during the refilling of the system in order to prevent new deposits and/or corrosion from occurring.

Please note

Add component B and later the Neutralauge slowly since an exothermic reaction will occur.
We recommend to conduct a preliminary test in a measuring cup prior to neutralisation in the system, to determine whether the flocculation occurs too fast in the system and prevent that from happening.
