Foreign oils which are emulsified in water-miscible cooling lubricants change their special characteristics. The cooling lubricants then mostly have shorter life spans and the other benefits recede.
Compared with the cooling lubricants of the TECOOL series, Isotec-VG 46 is a demulsifying lubricant. Hydraulic oil which has escaped from permeable areas floats upwards onto the cooling lubricant and can be removed again using an oil skimmer or a centrifuge. Special additives reduce the wear due to scoring in the mixed friction area, and optimise the aging stability and the corrosion protection.
Isotec-VG 46 the lubrication-related data correspond with those of a hydraulic oil: HLP 46 according to DIN 51524, part 2.
Isotec-VG 46 is used in hydraulic equipment in systems construction, machines construction, in cutting machines and equipment.
